The WhatsApp Business Account is requested by XQTING.
When requesting the number from our operator, we will ask the customer for a list of countries that are frequently communicated with. SMS communication to these countries is done at a cheaper rate than occasional communication in other countries. This list is mandatory at the start, even if one does not have the immediate intention of starting SMS communication, but only WhatsApp. In the budget, the tariffs for the primary countries are marked SMS-P1. The others with SMS-P2.
To use the WhatsApp Business number, the customer must have a verified WhatsApp Business Portfolio. Perhaps one already exists - e.g. if the customer already has a verified Facebook page.
To create one, please refer to the Meta Business Suite.
At a certain point in the process, the WhatsApp Business Account will be linked to the META Business Portfolio. The person responsible at the customer must have access to the WhatsApp management of the Business Portfolio at that moment.
Companies that have a WhatsApp Business number are allowed to respond to a WhatsApp message from a customer/contact within 24 hours. After this 24-hour period, companies are not allowed to initiate a message its customers. This is to avoid WhatsApp being flooded with commercial, intrusive messages.
A WhatsApp Business Template is a pre-approved message used in the WhatsApp Business API to send structured, outbound messages to customers. This is especially useful for businesses that want to reach customers in a consistent and automated way for specific purposes. These templates must be approved by WhatsApp before they can be used. They ensure that messages comply with WhatsApp's policies and do not contain advertising messages unless explicitly permitted.
